Mr. Mullis has long held a passion for alternative energy technology, as evidenced by his education in Alternate Energy Technology as far back as 1983, before it was a popular pursuit. He is no stranger to alternative energies, having spent years as a manager and a consultant which taught him the importance of not depending on foreign sources of non-renewable energies.
Before EEparc, he worked for a diverse range of organizations. At Fafco Industries, he designed and installed both types of DHW and pool solar heating systems. As a manager of Energy Transfer Systems, he had responsibilities of all installations of product for Florida’s west coast. During the same period, FP&L asked for consultation with Mr. Mullis about shaving the peaks of electrical consumption for the corporation. Subsequently this led to the design of Hooper’s Island; a 100% powered stand-alone photovoltaic system.
As owner of New Beginnings Manufacturing, he developed a business to create and operate all aspects of a manufacturing company that produced products from Invention Submission Corporation.
Mr. Mullis is currently assisting County governments in the viability and development of Alternative Energy projects.
Bringing to bear a background in Alternate Energy, and Manufacturing provides the foundation needed to provide profitable operations for innovative Alternative Energy technologies without the carbon footprints or the environmental issues typically connected with energy production.
